M24/7 Prayer Watch
When Bishop Dr. Ong Hwai Teik exhorted the Methodist family to 24/7 Prayer commitment at the final session of MPC 2014 on 30/08/2014, more than 900 people responded! And there had been amazing responses to 24/7 Prayer Watch since. This, thus, births the ministry of “M24/7 Prayer Watch”. What is “M24/7 Prayer Watch”? “M” signifies Methodist, Malaysian, or Malaysian Church. “M24/7 Prayer Watch” denotes we will have intercessors to pray for Malaysia and her church including Methodist Church in Malaysia, unceasingly for the next two years!
As of date, TRAC is taking Mondays, CAC and SPAC Tuesdays, SCAC and SPAC Thursdays, TAC Fridays and PMSM taking Saturdays as their day of participation in M24/7 Prayer Watch. When the Nation-wide 24/7 Prayer Watch was launched on 16/09/2014, the Methodist Church in Malaysia joins the larger body of Christ in Malaysia to pray 24/7 for 2 years to bless Malaysia.
We are pleased to invite you to be part of this Nationwide Call to 24/7 prayer for Malaysia. May we encourage more Methodists to sign up for 24/7 prayer slots especially on Wednesdays and Sundays. 当王怀德会督於30/08/2014在卫理祷告大会的总结时段呼吁卫理大家庭当委身於24/7守望祷告时，超过900位弟兄姐妹回应！自此以后，参与24/7守望祷告的回应是令我们惊讶的。“M24/7”守望祷告的服事也因此而成型。什么是“M24/7守望祷告”？“M”代表 Methodists （卫理宗信徒）、Malaysians（马来西亚人）、Malaysian Church（马来西亚基督教会）。“24/7守望祷告”表达在往后2年内，每周7日，每日24小时都有代祷者不间断的为国家及基督教会（包括马来西亚卫理公会）守望祷告。
至今，三一年议会（TRAC）认领星期一 ，沙巴临时年议会（SPAC） 和华人年议会（CAC）认领星期二 ，沙巴临时年议会（SPAC） 和砂劳越华人年议会（ SCAC）认领星星期四，淡米尔年议会（TAC）认领星期五以及先内宣教议会（PMSM）认领星期六作为有关年会 参与24/7 守望祷告的时段。当全国性的24/7守望祷告於16/09/2014正式被推展时，马来西亚卫理公会在往后的2年内会与全国更广大的基督身体一起以24/7守望祷告来祝福马来西亚。
